Key insights
What does Redkite do?Â
Every day in Australia, three families receive the devastating news of their child’s cancer diagnosis, embarking on a long, uncertain journey. Redkite, the National Cancer Support Charity, provides comprehensive assistance, including emotional and mental health support, financial aid, and practical help, to these families regardless of their location, socio-economic status, or the type of cancer their child has. Childhood cancer entails a prolonged battle that can have lasting impacts.
What are the impacts of the funds raised for Redkite through the i=Change platform?Â
Every number represents a real family going through an incredibly challenging time. Redkite offers practical support.
Recent research by Redkite revealed that parents are sacrificing meals due to the financial strain of cancer. A $100 donation can provide essential groceries.
Additionally, $200 can cover counseling sessions for the entire family. Siblings, who may feel neglected, benefit from this support during this tough period. Parents, often the pillars of strength, sometimes require counseling as well.
Every $48 raised can provide a family meal.
Be the change today.Â
