The information we collect
The Site is intended to provide a full experience without requiring you to submit any more Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) than is necessary to use the Site effectively. Personally Identifiable Information Collected from Individuals
RETAILER: When choosing an NGO project on the i=Change platform on a Retailer’s site, the Retailer can access your name, email and the NGO project you chose. Retailer may communicate with you via their channels, and customise their message to you based on your NGO project choice, from a previous purchase you made on Retailer’s site.
iEC may receive and store any information you enter on the Site or provide to iEC, that would allow i=Change to identify you. The PII you provide to iEC will only be used by iEC in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Examples of PII we may collect from you:
- If you choose to receive impact updates, we collect your name and email address
- PII you provide about yourself when you send us an email
- iEC may use the information you provide to contact you about our relevant content, products and services related to iEC. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time
Disclosure of Information to third parties
iEC may give your PII to any third parties under the following circumstances:
Fulfilment of Services
We may retain other companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf. Examples include, but are not limited to, companies and individuals who: (i) administer the IEC accounts; (ii) process donations; (iii) provide customer support; (iv) analyse data. Such third parties may be provided with access to PII needed to perform their functions but may not use such information for any other purpose.
Compliance with Law and Fraud Protection
We may disclose any information, including, without limitation, PII, that we deem necessary, in our sole discretion and without your prior permission, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. Sale or Transfer of Information
In the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, dissolution or sale or transfer of substantially all of the assets of iEC or the Site, PII and/or other information collected about you from the Site may be sold, assigned or transferred to the party acquiring all or substantially all of the equity and/or assets of iEC or the Site in order to permit the party to continue the operation of iEC and/or the Site or any successor version of the Site. These terms and conditions govern iEC’s relationship with you when you use iEC’s website, www.iequalchange.com (“site”) and any or all services available on or through the site or otherwise provided by iEC (collectively, the “service” or “services”). By using or accessing the site, whether manually or through automated means, you agree to these iEC terms and conditions (“terms”). These terms apply to you if you are a charity, donor, event organiser, event registrant or any other user of the site and/or services (collectively, “users” or “you”). If you choose to not accept these terms, you may not use the IEC site or the services.
General
The headings used throughout these Terms and conditions are solely for convenience of reference and are not to be used as an aid in the interpretation of these Terms. If IEC fails to enforce any parts of these Terms and conditions it will not be considered a waiver.These Terms make up the entire agreement between you and IEC regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements. These Terms and conditions do not confer any third party beneficiary rights. You will not transfer any of your rights or responsibilities under these Terms and conditions to anyone without IEC’s express written permission.
IEC may, at any time, assign our rights or delegate our obligations hereunder without notice to you in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. Nothing in these Terms and conditions shall prevent iEC from complying with the law.
Jurisdiction
Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia and shall be interpreted, construed, and enforced according to the laws of Victoria, without giving effect to any conflict of laws or provisions.
Ownership of the Site, Site information and Services; Intellectual Property Rights
The Site and Services are expressly owned and operated by iEC. Unless otherwise noted, the design and content features on the Site and Services, including without limitation, information and other materials, illustrations, product layout and design, logos, icons, navigational buttons, images, artwork, graphics, photography, text, data, audio sound, software, HTLM code, URLs, and the like, as well as the selection, assembly and arrangement thereof (collectively, the “Site Information”), are owned by IEC, or are licensed by iEC from third parties. The Site and Services, as a whole and in part, are protected by copyright, trademark, service mark, trade name, and other intellectual property and proprietary rights, and all other applicable rights are reserved.
No other use of material on the site is permitted other than with the express written permission of the copyright holder.
